If you’ve been keeping up with Age of Attraction on Netflix, then you’re likely also wondering whether the show’s youngest contestant, 22-year-old social media manager Libby Vodicka, is still together with 38-year-old bar owner (and father of two) Andrew Wheeler. And considering how active Libby has been on social media since the series debuted (it’s her job, after all!!!), there have definitely been some clues about where Age of Attraction’s Libby and Andrew stand today.
Fans first began to have their doubts about a happy ending after Libby took to Instagram on March 21 to share some BTS from filming. “get yourself besties that will secretly fly all the way to canada just to clock you for your delusionship,” she captioned a roundup of pics showing the two friends Libby introduced to Andrew.
“IS THIS A SPOILER?” asked one fan, while another wrote, “WHAT.. you guys broke up?” Meanwhile, another commented, “@netflix did she just spoil the finale?!?”
But then! The following day, Libby shared a whole new crop of pics, many of which included shots of herself and Andrew so…it’s possible that was her way of dispelling breakup rumors.
And of course, if you watched the finale, you know that (*spoiler alert*) Libby and Andrew decided to leave the experiment as boyfriend and girlfriend.
Oh, and she also straight-up confirmed that she “is still committed to her partner” Andrew during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, which has since been made private (probably because of the massive spoilers in it).
Andrew even told ET that the “next step” in their relationship is for Libby to move from San Diego to Baltimore so that they can start to get more serious.
During an appearance on The Viall Files following the series premiere, Andrew responded to criticism from fans, saying of Libby that “there’s definitely another side to her that’s deep.”
As he explained, “I don’t know how much you’ll see on the show, but we would stay up until three or 4 a.m., just talking about our childhood and parents and things that are just more deep than probably some of the surface-level banter you’ll see between us.”
Libby agreed, revealing during her own appearance on The Viall Files that she thought she was in a “very equal relationship” with Andrew. “It wasn’t like here he is this older guy and I’m this younger girl following him around and he just sees me as one thing,” she said. “I think intellectually we really met each other in the same space.”
